BOAK'S quest to wow home crowd

The final round of the MSA Toyo Tyres British Rallycross Championship is coming thick and fast. The closing round of the championship will be held on the 21st October at the legendary Croft circuit, Darlington and the 22nd October will see the Rallycross Grand Prix of 2017.

The Geordie driver Michael Boak plans to duplicate his victory of last year of crossing the finish line 1st and claiming his first ever victory in his MB Motorsport built Super 1600 Citroen C2 and also finishing fastest 2 wheel drive car in the Grand Prix. Boak has had not the best of luck this year as finals don't seem to be his best friend with retirements. His last placement in the final was in Round 5 in Mondello, Ireland where he came home 2nd place on the back bumper of Super 1600 competitor Paul Coney. Boak comments "I'm saving my big finish for my home track" Will he be victorious at Croft?

Tickets are available at the gates at Croft Circuit and also online at http://www.croftcircuit.co.uk/ . Racing starts at 9am Saturday and 10am Sunday. Come along for a chat with Michael Boak and wish him luck.
